In October-November 2011 Weta was approached and asked to offer up some ideas for Doug Liman's Edge of Tomorrow. The Film adaptation of the Manga All You Need Is Kill.

A group of us covered a range of briefs, some elements in these pieces are by Stu Thomas and Christian Pearce.

I worked on the concept for the small Sky Bikes that are used in the teaser. Was fun stuff to do.

In 2009 Weta was approached by a Maori company, in connection with Tourism New Zealand I think. They wanted some paintings, realising some of the Maori Legends. I painted this sequence of Maui fishing up the South Island, pretty awesome Mythology - Read about it here.

A few concepts I did of Bard in 2011, I was asked to go wider on the cultural look of the characters clothing.

3

Back in 2009 I was tasked with the early development of Goblin Town. It was originally supposed to show a lot more of the culture and living within Goblin Town instead of just the story beats.

Basic clay sculpts photographed and worked up in Photoshop.

People seem to respond well to this one so I made a wee gif :)

Started out with a wee alchemy scribble.

My part of an art trade with my good friend Stu Thomas (Roman Cepie). The idea was to paint each others character in out own style.

Sup yall, mind that movie John Carter that came out a while back? Well I totally worked on it, honestly. Here are a few of the Zodangan Army designs that I did that I am still quite happy with.

Really rubbish at his job..

He has just realised he may have left the door open.

Updateathon-

I got inspired and painted this tonight. I want to just sit down and paint stuff without labouring over it or relying on techniques that may be bad habbots, that said I will probably work into this further haha.

Loves his job.

Had a scan through my hard drive and dug out a bunch of old stuff that I am still not too unhappy with.

7

I usually avoid detailing faces because I don't find it that easy, so I decided to try and put some character into these nasty wee bams.

Bigger size

Process Giffy

This was a gift for my parents, like a house warming present, but 2 years late. First time I did anything this size, it was a digital print onto canvas wrapped around a frame. The frame is about 1.5 metres in length.
